Save First Things First-- Vote NO on 302

Arizona Voters, there is a proposition on our ballot that you need to be aware of.  It's Prop 302, and it is a BAD idea!

In November of 2006, we the voters approved a $0.40 tax on cigarettes to provide funding and create the "Arizona Early Childhood Development and Health Initiative."  Yes, I voted to approve this tax as I feel we need to be vested in our children and Yes, I am a smoker.

Four years later, the Arizona Legislation is now trying, as usual, to take this tax and dump it into the general fund where there will be no end to how fast they can waste it.  They claim that the money will be used to fund "health and human services for children" but if you have been in Arizona longer that a minute, you know that they will WASTE the money like they waste everything else.  The money is currently being used to help children and is managed by the Arizona Early Childhood Development and Health Board.  Giving this kind of money to our legislators is just ASKING for a waste of money AND children not being helped.  Arizona is not know for being budget responsible and taking $345,000,000 from children is a perfect example of why we need to STOP our current so called elected heros and in one voice tell them NO, YOU CAN NOT TAKE MONEY FROM OUR CHILDREN!

FIRST THINGS FIRST RESULTS TO DATE
*  Expansion of public preschools:  $10 million annually
*  Helping 30,000 children receive safe and affordable childcare:  $40 Million
*  Home visiting programs to support at risk families:  $20 Million
*  Food donated to children & Families:  2.5 million pounds
Total health services and early education grants:  More than $284 million - impacting the lives of almost 330,000 children statewide.

Me and my Spray Vitamins!

I am a HUGE fan of spray vitamins.  It all started when I read this article...

OK, YUCK!  I do not want povidone, xanthan gum and Carbopol (an acrylic resin) in my stomach!  So I became a VitaMist Affiliate and now I get like 94% of the benefits of my daily Vitamin regiment.

› VITAMINS I TAKE ‹

B12 and B12 500
Got to have my daily B12 fix.  Did you know that 70% of us do not get our daily allowance of B12.  Actually, I do get mine!
Colloidal Minerals
Did you know that on a daily basis, our bodies require more than 100 milligrams of major minerals and less than 100 milligrams of minor minerals. That is now covered in the Colloidal Mineral Spray.
Vitamin D
Got to be one of the most forgotten vitamins.  Both the wife and I were told by the doctor to get our Vitamin D levels up, so I got me some SPRAY!
Folacin
Until about 2 months ago, I had no idea what folacin was. Doctor knew and wanted me on it. Lucky for me, VitaMist has it!
Multiple
Everyone should be on a Multi-vitamin as due to the processing of the food we eat, we just don't get enough.
Tropical Delite
I am not exactly a "trim" guy, got a little beer gut and I tend to snack a bit. Once again, VitaMist comes through with a Dietary Snack Spray to help me through the day!

There you have it.  VitaMist has so much more to offer and a great affiliate program.  Join Us TODAY!

Why Sleep??? Life is to short?

When you sleep, the body is resting, repairing, and regenerating itself from the stress of life. Proper and adequate sleep can help you regenerate and revitalize yourself each day. This can be considered anti-aging.

During sleep the body is resting the sympathetic nervous system. The sympathetic nervous system's main activity is during daytime cycles, such as flight or fight responses, increasing heart rate, and so on. During sleep the parasympathetic system is more active. It is involved with digestion, sleep, and other activities that occur primarily during sleep cycles. During sleep your body is regenerating from the stress of daytime activity.

During sleep your body is recovering from the stress of life. Without adequate and proper sleep, you may not fully recover from each day's activities. You may feel fine on a few hours sleep, but this does not mean your body is not stressed by lack of adequate and proper sleep. For example, a smoker usually does not get side effects such as cancer or lung diseases, until they have been smoking 30 years or longer. So if a smoker has been smoking 25 years and still does not have side effects, this does not mean he is healthy despite smoking. The stress of improper sleep may not show up right away, but it is additional stress to the body nevertheless.

Your body has a sleep cycle. A brain chemical called serotonin usually starts off the sleep cycle, leading to the production of the hormone called melatonin. Shortly after melatonin is produced, deep sleep should occur for about 4-5 hours, During deep sleep growth hormone is active and helping to regenerate your body. The last 2-3 hours of sleep are much lighter and involve the cycles of the sexual hormones such as testosterone. The sexual hormone cycles are active about the time you are waking up. Thus based on the body's normal hormonal activity during sleep, you should be averaging about 7-7 and ½ hours of sleep. If you are averaging less sleep then you are limiting the time you are recovering from the stress of life. This can add additional stress to your body each day. Additionally improper and inadequate sleep does not support the primary hormones active while you sleep. The hormones are the chemical messengers of the body and are vital to your health. Stressing vital hormones by improper sleep is not a healthy activity

Stress is what can cause aging, degeneration, breakdown, and death. If you spend many days of your life with improper and inadequate sleep, this is accumulative stress happening each time to your body. This will not help you to regenerate and revitalize yourself each day from the stress of living. IF you are sleeping only a few hours a night consider methods to help you develop deep sleep and adequate refreshing sleep. Small Business Advertising Laws

Those of us who have our own business understand one thing...
ADVERTISE!
This is a given but as a small business owner myself, I found there are a few rules/laws that should be followed.

1. Use One Message: A high response rate ad usually conveys a single message.  For example NordicTrack's message of the "World's Best Aerobic Exercise" was simple and compelling. Your small business advertising needs to quickly communicate its core message in 3 seconds or less. Another example, if you are fearful and overwhelmed by technology, which computer book, do you buy? "DOS for Dummies" began a best-selling phenomena because its message was easily understood and to the point.

2. Add Credibility: It has become human nature to distrust advertising. Claims need to be real and credible. Roy H. Williams, best-selling author of the "Wizard of Ads" says, "Any claim made in your advertising which your customer does not perceive as the truth is a horrible waste of ad dollars."  Ivory soap's advertising success was attributed to its credible statement that ivory soap is the 99-44/100% pure. NordicTrack added enormous credibility from a University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse research study, ranking the cross-country ski exerciser first in the areas of weight loss, body fat reduction, and cardiovascular fitness.

3. Test Everything: Large businesses have a greater margin to waste capital and resources without testing advertising. Small businesses do not have the luxury. Use coupons, codes, and specials to measure the headline, timing, and placement of your ad. Test only one item at a time and one medium. Testing can be as simple as asking every customer for several weeks how they heard of your business.

4. Be Easy to Contact: Every single brochure, box, email and all company literature should have full contact information including: website and email address, phone and fax numbers, and company address. It seems simple but is forgotten by most companies. I know team members of VitaMist put stickers on the caps of their products so their customers always know how to get hold of them. Just think where can I put my information?  The answer is everywhere.

5. Match Ads to Target: Successful business advertising speaks to one target market only. To go back to the example of NordicTrack, the ads were tailored to each market. An ad in a medical publication preached the cardio-vascular benefits of cross-country skiing to heart patients. Ads in women's magazines discussed the weight-loss and calorie burn from cross-country skiing. Focus the message to the target group.

6. Create Curiosity: Successful business advertising does not sell a product or service. Create ads that generate interest and make the customer want more information.  Having a poor response is not the medium's fault. Often the problem is the message. Small business advertising is not a quick fix solution to marketing your company. It takes planning, testing and constant exposure to have an impact on your business. Done correctly, business advertising can be a winning strategy.

Spraying your way to better health

VitaMist is the revolutionary way of getting all of the vitamins you need at once into your body using first-class technology and only the purest ingredients. Instead of the standard 10% absorption rate of any pill which contains unhealthy fillers and binders (i.e. shellac, talcum powder, yeast, animal fats), VitaMist offers a 90-100% absorption rate without any of the nonessential excipients. With an absorption rate of only 10%, your pills (and your money) are essentially being flushed away. The prestigious PDR for Non-Prescription Drugs and Dietary Supplements shows that VitaMist's superior absorption gives you what you pay for.

With many medications and vaccines such as nitroglycerin, insulin, and the flu vaccine being converted into spray, VitaMist is ahead of the curve. Newer studies are showing that due to soil depletion, early harvesting, etc., even a healthy diet rich in fruits and vegetables doesn't give your body all the nutrients it needs. Even the American Medical Association has changed its anti-vitamin policies and is now recommending that everyone be on at least a multivitamin. With a variety of over 50 different great tasting formulations, VitaMist is the easiest and most compelling solution to get you healthy and keep you that way.

As a VitaMist Affiliate, not only will you get healthy, you can work from home!

Don't miss your opportunity to become a part of the fastest growing nutritional company and the chance to get your body back in balance. Act now and start spraying your way to better health!

You can blog better

When it comes to SEO, blogging is a must. You want to communicate what you know and how you can help your visitor with whatever it is you are offering.
Did you like that last statement?
Do you know WHY you liked it? In a word, "YOU"!
The most effective keyword you can have in a blog post or twitter post is the word “You”. “You” makes the post familiar. Using generic words like them, they, us, me and I are not as effective.
Make your articles focused on the reader, not the writer OR the product. You can only motivate your reader when they think you are talking directly to them.
Let’s be honest, people are basically interested in fulfilling their own desires. If you don’t appease them, aren’t interesting to them, offering them value, they will not be back, they will find that post that does.
So, you change your post to be directed to the reader. What happens? YOU become the next viral buzz!
Next time you blog, before you post it, count the numbers of “you” words. Count the “I” and “me” words and adjust. Make the post about and for your reader.
